Cooperation Agreement between Prince Mohammad Bin Fahd University and the World Future Studies Federation

The WFSF and PMU agreement was signed 2019 for a 5-year collaboration, as well as to establish a chapter and research funds per agreement.
This Chapter PMU has developed and operates the Middle East & North Africa (MENA) Chapter of WFSF.
 

Prince Mohammad Bin Fahd University and UNESCO Sign A Partnership Agreement to Develop Futures Literacy

Prince Mohammad Bin Fahd University and UNESCO signed an innovative Futures Literacy Partnership Agreement, to develop Futures Literacy at PMU and in the Gulf region.
This marks the launch of an ambitious joint effort to advance Futures Literacy (FL) at local, regional and global levels.
Futures Literacy is a critical competency for the 21st Century that enables people to “use-the-future for different reasons, using different methods, in different contexts”.

MOU with Future Foresight Foundation, Abu Dhabi, UAE, signed on February 2020.
 

Agreement with Teach the Future Association

MOU with Teach the Future Association located in Houston, Texas, signed on Friday 13th, September 2019.
 

Agreement with APF

MOU with the Association of Professional Futurists (APF, located in Seattle, Washington) signed on Friday 13th, September 2019.
 

Agreement with The Islamic World Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ICESCO)

ICESCO and Prince Mohammad Bin Fahd University Signed Partnership Agreement on Strategic Foresight and Scientific Research on May 2021.
 

Agreement with University of Turku’s Finland Futures Research Centre (FFRC)

Dr. Juha Kaskinen, Director of FFRC and Dr. Faisal Al Anezi, Vice President for Academic Affairs, signed the Memorandum of Understanding between University of Turku’s Finland Futures Research Centre (FFRC) and Prince Mohammad bin Fahd Center for Futuristic Studies (PMFCFS) on April 19, 2022.

The virtual signing was attended by Dr. Muamar Salameh – Director of PMFCFS, Dr. Derek Woodgate, Dr. Gregory Jordan Dunn, Ms. Crystal Lea Sylvester, Dr. Ghadeer Kayal.
 

Agreement with South American Institute for Resilience and Sustainability Studies (SARAS2)

On May 16, 2022, the agreement was signed between SARAS2 and Prince Mohammad bin Fahd Center for Futuristic Studies.

PMU was represented by Dr. Faisal Al Anezi - Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Muamar Salameh - Director of PMFCFS, Ms. Tasneem Alsaati, Dr. Jamal Nayfeh, Dr. Ghadeer Kayal and Dr. Muhammad Waqar Ashraf while SARAS2 was represented by Dr. Lydia Garrido, Ms. Constanza Bourdieu, Ms. Cecilia Palomo and Ms. Fiorella Polcaro.
